Your thesis

Submission instructions

Since September 1st 2016, students must submit their thesis one month before the oral defence.

 

The electronical version of the thesis (1.) must be sent to these.elec@univ-pau.fr (these.elec @ univ-pau.fr)or uploaded on the temporary files deposition place of your university (choose 15 days for the conservation period).

The electronical form (2.) must be completed and sent to us, as well as the UPPA contract of thesis distribution (3.).

 

1. Upload the final version of your thesis in one PDF file (less than 80 Mo). We advise you to use the latest version of PDF Creator.

This file has to be tested by yourself before submission on http://facile.cines.fr

You have 2 more months for submission if corrections have been required by the jury.

 

2. Upload, complete and submit the electronical form (Word file) the way you did for your thesis.

 

3. Bring the UPPA contract of thesis distribution, in two printed copies (please no scan), to the Thesis service. The file is available on this page, print it and have it signed by your thesis director and your laboratory or unit director, and sign it. After your oral defence, either come or post it to the following address :

Once signed by the University president, a copy will be sent back to you by post to your place. Students who go back abroad will receive a scanned version by email and will have to give us a durable postal address to which we can send them the original copy.

I have submitted my thesis, what happens next?

When you submit your thesis, you may request that access to your dissertation be restricted. If you don't, the full-text will be available online on the following websites : theses.fr et thèses en ligne.

 

Whatever you decide, your thesis will be automatically pointed out on theses.fr , in the SUDOC catalog Sudoc (Système Universitaire de Documentation) and on Dart-Europe

Besides, your thesis will be stored in a durable way at the CINES (National Computer Centre for Higher Education).
