HAL UPPA: UPPA open archive platform
The University of Pau and the Adour Region promotes the scientific output of its researchers
UPPA has chosen to use the national platform HAL
HAL is a multidisciplinary open-access repository created in 2001 by the Centre for Direct Scientific Communication (CCSD) of the CNRS. Since 2013, HAL has served as the national platform for the submission and dissemination of research-level scientific publications. UPPA launched its own portal in November 2018.
Thanks to the HAL UPPA portal, the university’s scientific output is widely disseminated and permanently preserved in the repositories of the CINES (National Computing Centre for Higher Education). Access is open, free of charge, and available to all. Submitting the full text of a publication to HAL increases its visibility, making it more widely read and more frequently cited.
Furthermore, HAL helps researchers meet the open-access dissemination requirements imposed by funding bodies and public agencies such as the ANR (French National Research Agency).
